Mobile pass (Apple and Google Wallet)

How a voucher works in a phone wallet and how to style the card — colours, metadata and logo — with a live preview.

Mobile pass is the version of a voucher a customer adds to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The card carries a QR code, the value, the voucher code and the expiry date — the customer always has it on hand in their phone, and you scan it at redemption in Redeem.

You configure the card’s look in the store editor, under the Mobile pass tab.

How a customer adds a voucher to their wallet

After buying, the customer receives a voucher they can save as a Mobile pass on their phone. The card shows the value (e.g. “50 zł”), the voucher code, the expiry date and a QR code for scanning at the counter.

Card colours

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet only accept colours in HEX format:

Choose colours with contrast in mind — text must stay readable against the card on a phone. You can turn on Sync with storefront brand colour so the background follows your brand colour (text contrast is picked automatically), or untick it and set your own values.

Card metadata

The store contact details (phone, email, socials) set on the Settings tab are used on vouchers and cards — it’s worth filling them in.

Live preview

On the right of the Mobile pass editor you’ll see a Live preview — a mock-up of the card that updates as you type. Use it to check colour legibility and that the data is correct before you save.
