Getting started with Retiva
What Retiva is, how to create your account and team, how to find your way around the dashboard, and what to do to take your first sale.
What Retiva is
Retiva is a platform for local merchants — cafés, restaurants, service businesses and small shops — that lets you sell vouchers and tickets online, redeem them in person, and run a loyalty programme, all under your own brand with payments handled by Stripe.
In short, Retiva gives you:
- A storefront — your own shop page where customers buy monetary vouchers and event tickets.
- Redeem — a QR code scanner for settling vouchers at the counter.
- Mobile pass — a voucher your customer adds to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- Loyalty — stamp cards that reward your regulars.
Creating your account and team
Work in Retiva is organised around a Team — your company account, which owns the stores, products and staff.
- Create an account and sign in to the dashboard.
- Create a team (or join an existing one from an invite).
- Within the team, create your first Store — give it a name, a currency (PLN, EUR, USD or GBP) and its languages.
One team can run several stores, and you can invite colleagues to the team (see the Team section below).
A tour of the dashboard
The main modules live in the left-hand sidebar:
- Dashboard — a shortcut to the essentials, including your Stripe connection status.
- Redeem — the QR scanner for redeeming vouchers in person.
- Orders — orders and sales.
- Vouchers — issued vouchers, searchable by code.
- Stores — your stores, their settings, look and domain.
- Products — what you sell: monetary vouchers and tickets.
- Loyalty — loyalty programmes (stamp cards).
- Staff — team members and their access.
At the bottom you’ll find the Storefront link (a preview of your shop as customers see it) and the team/account switcher.
Launch checklist
Before you start selling, work through these steps:
- Connect Stripe — you can’t take payments without it. See Payments with Stripe.
- Create a store — name, currency, languages and (optionally) a custom domain.
- Add products — e.g. monetary vouchers. See Monetary vouchers.
- Customise the look — store theme and copy, voucher design and Mobile pass.
- Test redemption — open Redeem and check code scanning. See Redeeming vouchers.
